I agree, it is the map of what to read. I just want to read comments by the 10-or-so people whose blogs I read though, not a bunch of Spanish or HS students.

Ohh i/c a "favorites only" option. I guess this would be how to do that. :)

I would rather see blogs only. Or maybe you could do like Fark and have the blog headline with the number of comments in parentheses rather than who commented on what.

Yeah there will still be a favorites only option in 2.0. It will be much easier to use then it is now.

There will also be a friends option that will be much more powerful then favorites. It will give u the ability to only allow your friend to see your blog's activity in the Ticker. You will also see you friends blog's activity in the Ticker as well when you have this set.

So the spanish students won't even be able to see your blog in the ticker if you don't want them to. Combine that with a friend's only comment setting and they will never be part of your experience here.

I am hoping these settings will be very easy to use and understand once I have them running.

There will be 3 different ways to look at the ticker.

1) Entire site (only shows blogs but can be filtered by age, sex, location etc.)

2) Favorites (only shows your favorites. Can be filtered by only blogs, only comments or blogs and comments)

3) Friends (only shows your friends blog activity. Can be filtered by only blogs, only comments or blogs and comments)

You can also click on any username in the ticker and it will give you a display of that persons activity as well. If their security setting allow it if of course.

Ohhh coffay...this is Day 2 off of it for me. It's tough but I'm trying again. Just detoxing with pretty much everything at the moment. Anyway, thanks Timbo for all your hard work. I'm sure it'll be superlative and easy to use and we'll all dig it. Hot diggety dog.
